Receive emails, not guarantees
We provide email reception and forwarding, but can’t guarantee that third parties will accept temporary addresses or that verification codes will arrive.

We provide email reception and forwarding, but can’t guarantee that third parties will accept temporary addresses or that verification codes will arrive.
Temporary emails and forwarding records are kept for a limited time. This service is not a permanent archive, and deletion or expiration is usually irreversible.
You’re responsible for protecting your browser credentials, primary email, and authenticator. Don’t rely on a temporary inbox as the only way to recover an important account.
FwdBay provides registration-free temporary email at fwdbay.com, along with long-term forwarding aliases available after you sign in with an email verification code. By using a feature, you acknowledge and agree to these terms. If you disagree, stop using the service.
You must be old enough under the laws where you live to use digital services, and be authorized to use the primary email address you provide. Organizations must ensure that their users have appropriate authorization. Signing in with an email verification code for the first time may create an account linked to that address.
Temporary inboxes expire after 3 hours by default. The expiration details shown on the page and returned by the interface are authoritative. Extend an inbox before it expires. Changing the address means giving up the old inbox; we can’t guarantee that emails sent to the old address will remain available.
Forwarding records are available to review for the past 30 days. The alias itself does not automatically expire when this record-keeping period ends. Pausing an alias discards new incoming emails; resuming it won’t restore emails received while it was paused.
| Feature | What’s included | What’s not guaranteed |
|---|---|---|
| Temporary inbox | Receive and read emails while the inbox is active; extend or delete it. | No recovery after expiration, permanent storage, or compatibility with every platform. |
| Long-term alias | Forward incoming emails to your signed-in email address; pause or delete the alias. | No guarantee that your email provider won’t block messages; impersonating other senders is not supported. |
| 30-day archive | Review recent emails and delivery status; retry forwarding when delivery fails. | Not a delivery receipt, permanent backup, or proof that a recipient has read an email. |
| Two-step verification | Confirm an authenticator code in addition to your email verification code. | We can’t guarantee account recovery if you lose all your credentials. |
The service is designed to reduce unnecessary exposure of your primary email address and help you test legitimate email flows. Check that third-party platform rules allow these addresses before using them. Don’t use our features to bypass another service’s requirements.
You must not use the service to infringe others’ rights or violate applicable laws. To protect users and email networks, we may limit requests, disable addresses, or suspend accounts when we see reasonable signs of abuse.
To report abuse, email our support address with the address involved, the time, and any relevant evidence. Don’t forward unrelated personal information. If you believe a restriction was made in error, request a review from the email address associated with your account.
You’re responsible for protecting your primary email address, inbox access credentials, and authenticator key, and for signing out of sessions on shared devices. Don’t use a temporary address for banking, identity verification, or other accounts where losing access could have serious consequences.
Emails are provided by their senders. We don’t guarantee the accuracy of their statements, links, or attachments. You retain any rights you have in your content under applicable law and authorize us to process it as technically necessary to receive, display, forward, and secure it.
The service may be interrupted by maintenance, network issues, anti-abuse measures, or third-party email policies. We’ll make reasonable efforts to address issues, but don’t guarantee continuous availability, no delays, no lost emails, or suitability for any particular purpose.
To the extent permitted by law, we aren’t liable for indirect losses resulting from expiration, lost user credentials, or third-party actions. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law or limits your mandatory consumer rights.
You can stop using the service, delete an alias, or request account closure from your signed-in email address. Copies already delivered to an external inbox remain under that inbox holder’s control. If we end the service due to abuse or a legal obligation, we may retain certain necessary records for security or legal purposes.
For questions about these terms or a dispute, please contact us first at support@fwdbay.com, describing what happened and how you’d like it resolved. We’ll prioritize resolving issues through communication. Nothing in these terms prevents you from seeking recourse from a competent authority or court with jurisdiction, as permitted by law.
We may update features and these terms, and will publish the new version and its effective date on this page. We’ll notify you of significant changes in an appropriate way. Please review any changes that affect you before continuing to use the service.
How we process personal data is described separately in our Privacy Policy. These terms set out your responsibilities when using the service; they aren’t email security advice or an endorsement of any third-party service.
