Privacy Policy:
Only the contact details you need

This policy applies to the temporary inbox, email verification login, and long-term forwarding services on fwdbay.com. Updated and effective: October 15, 2026.

1. Who handles this data

FwdBay is the name of the email receiving and forwarding service provided by this website. In this policy, “we” refers to the FwdBay team that operates fwdbay.com and handles service requests.

For privacy questions, access requests, or abuse reports, contact support@fwdbay.com. We verify identity based on the scope of each request. We will never ask you to email us a login verification code or authenticator key.

2. What we collect and why

Temporary email requires us to process random addresses, inbox access credentials, email senders, subjects, message content, and arrival times. Long-term forwarding also requires us to store your login email, alias settings, and delivery status so we can forward messages to the real email address you specify.

Our servers may process IP addresses, request times, and error information to rate-limit traffic, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot issues. We don’t claim that “temporary” means completely untraceable, and we don’t recommend using this service to send identity, medical, or payment information.

Data categoryPurpose and retention limitsWhat you can do
Temporary addresses and incoming mail3 hours by default; if extended, the current expiration time applies. Cleared after expiration and cannot be recovered.Delete individual messages, change the address, or wait for it to expire.
Forwarded email archiveKept for reviewing records from the past 30 days and troubleshooting, not as a permanent backup.Delete our records from the dashboard.
Login email and aliasesUsed for authentication and delivery while your account and forwarding relationship remain active.Delete aliases or request account closure.
Browser credentialsStored in your current browser to restore inbox access or your login session.Log out and clear site data.
Security and support recordsKept only as long as needed for security, dispute handling, and responding to requests. They don’t necessarily expire along with temporary emails.Ask which records apply and whether they can be deleted.

3. Browser storage and sessions

To keep your inbox from disappearing when you refresh, the website uses local browser storage for inbox credentials and expiration details. Login tokens are also used to recognize signed-in users. The verification flow may use session storage to temporarily save the destination email address or reading position.

Clearing site data may remove your access to a temporary inbox, but it doesn’t delete all data from our servers. On shared devices, log out and clear site data when you’re done. Don’t share your access credentials with anyone.

4. Who receives the data

Email must pass through technical services responsible for hosting, network transmission, and delivery. When you use forwarding, your chosen email provider receives the full message and may retain it under its own terms.

We don’t provide this service to sell email content. We may disclose information to the extent necessary when required by law, to investigate abuse, or to protect users and service security. Third-party websites and remote images or links in emails are outside the scope of this policy.

5. Security measures and limitations

We use measures such as access credentials, encryption in transit, and email content isolation to reduce risks. You can also enable a phone authenticator on your account. HTML emails may contain external resources, so avoid opening unfamiliar links or downloading suspicious attachments.

These measures cannot guarantee absolute security and are not a promise of end-to-end encryption. Temporary addresses aren’t suitable for long-term account recovery. If you lose your credentials or browser data, or your inbox expires, we may be unable to verify ownership and recover your email.

6. Your choices and requests

You can delete emails, disable or delete aliases, log out, and request access to, correction of, or deletion of data associated with your account. Your specific rights may vary depending on local law. If legal or security reasons prevent us from deleting data right away, we’ll explain the limits that apply.

Send requests from your login email to our support address. Include the request type and relevant aliases, and don’t attach unrelated full email messages. We’ll respond within a reasonable time and usually confirm receipt within one business day. Complex requests may require additional time for verification.

7. Policy updates and scope

We’ll update this page and its effective date if our services, data handling practices, or legal requirements change. For significant changes, we’ll provide notice through appropriate means, such as an on-site notification.

This service is for users who can independently understand the risks of email and accounts. It is not intended for children below the legal age for digital services where they live. If you believe a child’s data has been submitted inappropriately, contact our support team.
